Matrescence in the workplace

I work with businesses to improve their perception of working parents and offer real support for their parent employees.

I specialise in supporting women in the transition of motherhood and supporting workplace practices around it. Through coaching, consulting and advocacy, I am dedicated to guide employers to better support working parents and to educate and empower mothers, preventing them from burnout.

And in turn companies:

  • Can retain their key workforce through the period of early parenting,

  • Attract the next generation of leaders,

  • Close the gender pay gap and lack of representation at higher levels of management,

  • Create a workplace culture in which everyone feels empowered to share what they need to thrive in the workplace, free from fear of bias or discrimination - for all types of caring.

"The obligation that evolves for working mothers, in particular, is a very precise one; the feeling that one ought to work as if one did not have children, while raising one's children as if one did not have a job."
